Introducing the July 2025 Soap of the Month - Coconut Lime Soap!
Coconut milk is one of those ingredients that finds it's way into recipes at our house for creamy soups, stews, or in smoothies & desserts. It adds delicious flavour & creaminess to our meals.
But is it good for the skin?
Absolutely. Coconut milk is rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, and nutrients. It is moisturizing while also being gentle on sensitive or irritated skin.
When I developed the recipe for this coconut milk soap, I couldn't help but think of lime to pair it with. Lime juice is incorporated into the soap for it's Vitamin C & antioxidants. Spirulina powder provides the gorgeous green color to the soap.
The soap is scented with a pure essential oil blend of lime, tangerine, and cedarwood - making the soap vibrant and summer-y!
The soap incorporates olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, and lard to make a nourishing, gentle soap with a lovely lather. The lard comes from pigs raised outdoors in the sunshine making the fats rich in vitamins & nutrients.
Our ancestors used animal fats to make quality, simple soaps for hundreds of years. During the industrial revolution, manufacturers looked for ways to mass produce home & personal products as cheaply as possible - replacing animal fat soaps with soaps made from synthetic & highly processed oils.
Ingredients: outdoor humanely raised pork lard, coconut oil, olive oil, shea butter, kaolin clay, spirulina powder, essential oils.
CARE: As with any skin product, sensitivities may occur. Always try a test patch prior to regular use.
Variations in color or texture, or minor separation may occur due to the purity of our products. For best longevity, store in a cool, dry area.

The small batch, handcrafted nature of our products may create some slight variations in color or texture but nonetheless you'll love each and every product for the supple result.
