Raspberry Sweet Tea
Over the past couple of years I have discovered my love for all things made with black tea! Here's one of my absolute favorite ways to drink tea - made with raspberry tea & sweetened! The perfect treat for a warm day.
Raspberry Sweet Tea Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoon raspberry loose leaf raspberry tea
- 1 tablespoon loose leaf black tea
- 4 tablespoons white sugar, honey, or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, optional
- 4 cups boiling water
- 4 cups cold water
Instructions:
Heat up water in a kettle to boiling.
In a 1 litre/quart mason jar, add raspberry tea, black tea leaves, sugar, and lemon juice. Add 4 cups (1 litre/quart) of boiling water to the jar. Stir.
Steep for 5 minutes.
Strain the tea leaves out and transfer evenly to two 1 litre mason jars. Add 2 cups of cold water to each jar and tuck into the fridge to chill. Once chilled, serve with ice & enjoy!
Concentrate Alternate:
Alternatively, don't add the cold water and chill the sweet raspberry tea concentrate in the fridge until ready to drink. Fill a glass halfway and then fill to the top with cold water & ice & serve!
