I breed & raise Navajo Churro, and Icelandic sheep for meat & fibre.
The lambs are born and raised outdoors, rotationally grazed during the summer months; fed good quality hay during the late fall before butchering, and are also given a custom feed blend made by a local farmer to ensure they are getting all the nutrients they need that they aren’t getting from grass & hay.
Pre order deposits for half lambs come January 10, 2023. Putting a deposit on half lamb will guarantee a lamb for your table come winter.
Half lamb pricing is $9/lb plus cut and wrap processing fees. Average live lamb weight is 80-100 pounds, hanging weight is about 50 pounds, so with a half lamb you will get around 25 pounds of meat in your freezer.
