Get ready for summer at this DIY summer skincare workshop! You'll learn how to create your own all-natural big spray, an itch stick to soothe itchy bug bites & dry skin, and a zinc-based natural sunscreen balm. You’ll be using all-natural ingredients that you’ll feel comfortable using your products on your whole family.
In this class you'll come away with the knowledge to create your own all-natural bug spray, itch stick, and sunscreen at home including the following:
- Working with beef tallow, plant oils & butters and Essential oils for skincare
- step by step instructions for making bug spray
- step by step instructions for making itch stick with an oil infusion
- step by step instructions for making all-natural zinc-based sunscreen
- properties of the fats, oils, and butters used
You'll take home one of each of your handmade products!
Class length: 2 to 3 hours
What to wear: You may get product/materials on your clothes so wear something that you don't mind getting spilled on. Wear comfortable shoes since you'll be standing on cement while making your soap.
We will provide: gloves, all supplies and materials to make soap
